Hear from the entrepreneurs

Katie Diffley, Rebel Rising
Podcast

The New Frontiers Programme was transformational and helped me from concept to the remarkable launch of my business, Rebel Rising. A disruptive Marketing Agency, Academy, and Community exclusively designed for female founders, start-ups, and entrepreneurs. Throughout the three phases of the programme, I had the privilege of being fully supported by Ger and the team. The knowledge, support, and networking opportunities provided are nothing short of invaluable for any ambitious startup. This experience not only enriched my entrepreneurial acumen but also presented me with purposeful challenges that fueled my personal growth. From comprehensive market research and validation to crafting a robust business plan, every aspect of my venture was covered. Additionally, the inclusion of an incredible EI Mentor, securing a LEO priming grant, and the confidence I needed to grow Rebel Rising successfully were all huge milestones in just nine months. I have so much gratitude for Ger and the entire team for their unwavering dedication and remarkable contributions. Without their guidance and support, my journey from an aspiring entrepreneur to an agency founder would not have been possible.

“The New Frontiers programme has come at the right time for me in my business. It is challenging me to think strategically about how to grow our customer base internationally.”

Kieran Supple
Reap Interactive

“New Frontiers North West was the catalyst in Reap Interactive getting off the ground.  Starting your own business on a full-time basis can be a daunting undertaking but the supports, guidance, mentoring, access to industry experts and peer group network provided by Geraldine and team at NFNW was invaluable.  The program also connected me to the whole Irish ‘eco startup network’ which allowed Reap Interactive continued progression after the program ended.”

“New Frontiers Phase has been a huge support for me personally & for POD1UM, as myself & co-founder Barry brought the startup from idea to reality. The 1:1 mentoring in particular, but also the workshops and networking opportunities have been highly beneficial in helping us navigate the early stages of our business. I would certainly recommend this programme to anyone taking the first steps in their startup”.

David Gildea
Druva

“When starting my business, I found out very quickly that having technical knowledge is not everything. You need a very broad skill set, which the programme introduced me to – important skills suck as  sales, marketing, finance and business planning. It has been a great help to us growing our business.”

Glenn G, Phase 1

“I couldn’t recommend the New Frontiers Programme (Phase 1) highly enough. From my initial contact with Geraldine/ the New Frontiers North West Programme Manager, right through the excellent online meetings and to the considerate follow up, the experience has been one of total professional care. The New Frontiers Team want the best for you and your idea, but being part of a group was so helpful also. If you think you have an idea for a business that you pitch to friends on a night out, try pitching it to New Frontiers for real – you’ll get fantastic advice and honest feedback in a very professional environment. If you’re serious about a business idea, this is seriously the best place to take it first.”

Linda H, Phase 1

“It was really grounding. Everything was so practical – with plenty of real life examples. Plenty of opportunities to ask questions and the quality of the answers was great.”
